Grab-A-Crab, a SoCal seafood boil restaurant where family, fun, and fresh flavors come together.
When new owners took over and changed the name of the restaurant, they were in need of a fresh brand identity. Collaborating with the marketing director, we explored various logo designs to capture the essence of Grab-A-Crab. After much creative brainstorming and refinement, we settled on a logo that perfectly represents their fun, family-friendly atmosphere and commitment to great food.

It’s all part of the fun!

Sketch Process
The concept was to take a literal approach with the crane game, as it's a key feature of the restaurant's appeal. I wanted to convey the "fun and relaxing" atmosphere. I was inspired by classic arcade signage mixed with traditional nautical designs. I believe these evoke a sense of nostalgia for adults while promising a great time for kids.
